Terms of service

The service

OpenInvite lets you choose an invitation design, personalise it, and publish it as a website your guests open from a link. Browsing, previewing and saving drafts are free. Publishing requires a hosting plan, shown with its price before you pay. Free tools on our site are provided as they are, for personal use.

Your account

Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@openinvite.in if you think someone else has accessed it. You must be at least 18, or use OpenInvite with a parent or guardian.

Hosting period and delivery

• Your purchase is a digital service delivered online. Your guest link is ready as soon as payment is confirmed and you publish (or at the go-live time you schedule).
• Hosting lasts for the plan you buy (for example 30 or 90 days) from first publication. When it ends, guests can no longer open the invitation; you keep your draft and can renew hosting.
• Hiding the link, protecting it with a PIN or changing your schedule does not pause or extend the hosting period.

Your content

You own what you add. You give us permission to store, process and display it only to provide the service. You confirm you have the right to use the names, photos and details you add, including other people’s, and that your content is lawful and not abusive, misleading or infringing. We may hide or remove content that breaks these terms or the law, and suspend accounts that misuse the service.

Designs and music

Invitation designs, artwork and the music library remain ours or our licensors’. Your purchase lets you use the chosen design for your own invitation during its hosting period. You may not copy, resell or extract designs, artwork or music for other uses.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Indian rupees before checkout. Payments are processed by a secure third-party payment processor. Coupons and free credits apply only as described when issued and have no cash value. See our cancellation and refund policy.

Availability

We work to keep invitations available, but the service depends on the internet and third-party providers and may occasionally be interrupted. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Please keep your own copy of important event details.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to an invitation is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for events, guests or venues outside our control.

Ending the service

You can stop using OpenInvite at any time and ask us to delete your data (see our privacy policy). We may suspend access for breach of these terms after reasonable notice, unless immediate action is needed to prevent harm.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mohali have jurisdiction. Please contact us first; most issues can be solved quickly.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase; we will tell you about significant changes in the app.
