What to include in a Kerala wedding invitation

  • ॥ ശ്രീ ഗണേശായ നമഃ ॥ or your family deity
  • The bride and groom, with both sets of parents
  • The muhurtham time for the thalikettu
  • Sadhya and reception, each with its own time
  • The auditorium or temple address with a map
  • ക്ഷണിക്കുന്നത്: the inviting families

Kerala muhurthams are short and often early, so put the exact time on the card and send it four to six weeks ahead. If the reception is on another day or in another town, add it as a separate event.
